Alexandre T. Speaker is Co-Founder of Moriah Capital, an asset-based lender, established in 2007, and which has made direct investments in small-cap companies with capital requirements of up to $10m to address a variety of needs. Moriah also provides commercial and residential real estate loans to developers, sponsors and operators. The firm works closely with companies and their management teams to deliver bespoke, growth-oriented financing solutions.
Prior to this Alexandre was a managing director with Laurus Capital, a multi-billion dollar direct-credit hedge fund, with responsibility for originating, structuring, negotiating and closing private and public debt transactions. He had earlier served as a senior attorney with the Secured Debt Group at Bryan Cave, an international law firm based in New York.
Through his family office, Alexandre continues to seek and invest directly and indirectly in various types of global alternative investments, including the acquisition of value-add properties, special situations and direct private loans.
Alexandre was awarded both his J.D (Juris Doctor) degree and BA in Political Science from Boston University.
